Virga is a feature-length nonfiction film set in Wyoming's high-altitude Red Desert, a vast, arid unfenced landscape shaped by the forces of deep time, contested histories, and a rich biodiversity. A cinematic form of ecological thinking, the project engages the complexities of this working landscape and asserts the value, visibility, and aliveness of threatened public lands.
